This is the entrance to our school garden.
We have named it 'The Dragon's Den'
Can you see the dragon?
The fencing is made from willow so it grows every year. We also have a willow den - a great place for hiding and playing in.

September - Inside our garden. At the moment everything is still green but over the coming winter months the trees and plants will loose their leaves and it will all be very bare. We will remember to put food out for the birds so they don't go hungry during the cold months.
We have some new arrivals at school......CHICKENS!
Mrs Amos and her class looked after them in her classroom as the 6 eggs were incubated and eventually hatched. Look at the photos to see this happening......

Over the summer the chickens grew and they are now outside in their new coop. We have two very noisy cockerels and some hens. They are a very beautiful breed and are now laying lots of eggs which we are going to use in our school kitchen and in cookery club. The children and some of our parents are enthusiastically feeding them and cleaning them out!!!
Frome class (Y5) have been working hard in the garden to tidy it up after the winter and to plant vegetables ready for harvest later in the year.
The plants are starting to grow.......
