There are some informations about trees in our environment in this pdf file |
This is our access balcony. The children walk through it to get from the bigger schoolyard to the smaller one or the other way round. This is the place where many different herbs are cultivated. From here you also have access to our biotope on the left hand side.
In our biotope, where our garden is cultivated, we found six little frogs.
The children of class 1c helped to plant the flowers in the colours of the national flag. At first it was tough to find black flowers. Fortunately we found black petunias.
Two classes of the first grade seeded different flowers and planted tomatoes, as well.
We seeded cress and ate it some days later during our breakfast time.. Before our summer holidays we plantet peas, beans and potatoes but after more than 6 weeks most little plants were eaten away by slugs. So there were only five new potatoes and some beans. Some children took their plants home and had more luck with them. They cultivated the small plantlets, watched them growing, picked the fruits and made salad or soup.
